Join Clementina Nunez of the Houston Public Library as she talks about strategies that libraries can use to identify, reach out to and serve teens who speak Spanish as a first language. She will share:

  • Programs  developed by the Houston Public Library, including those that help ESL teens develop various types of literacies;
  • Community agencies and organizations that typically serve this population and how to connect with them; and
  • Typical needs of Spanish speaking teens that libraries may be in a position to address
