The deadline for the 2014 Teen Read Week is fast approaching! Through generous funding from the Dollar General Literacy Foundation, ten libraries will be awarded $1000 each to help fund their Teen Read Week activities. Apply by June 1, 2014.
Eligibility requirements must be met in order to qualify.

Online community members can now access the updated 2014 resources on the Teen Read Week™ website. Although the website has not officially “launched”, members can log on and access all materials to get a head start on planning. Resources and materials include a publicity kit which includes a sample press release, fliers, marketing tips, planning checklists, and more.

Teen Read Week is in full swing at Eagle Public Library. Teens are playing Hide and Seek as they follow the clues to the treasure hidden in the books through out the library. Don't Judge a Book By Its Cover!!! Teens get to choose a book that has been wrapped with paper and give a 3-4 word description. The original display had 27 and on Wednesday we are down to 12!!!!!!
