Dollar General: Dollar General has generously provided funding through their Dollar General Literacy Foundation in support of YALSA's  mission of expanding and strengthening library services for teens, as well as helping engage, serve and empower teens. Dollar General's funding allows YALSA to award grants of $1,000 each in recognition of outstanding Teen Read Week activities. Since 1993, the Dollar General Literacy Foundation has awarded more than $71.2 million in grants to nonprofit organizations, helping more than 4.1 million individuals take their first steps toward literacy, a general education diploma or English proficiency.
