Teens at the Covina Public Library will have the opportunity to participate in a writing and art contest. They will be asked to turn in either an essay or an art piece that interprets what turning dreams into reality means to them. The top three winners of each category will receive a prize!

"The Haunting"

The Friday evening event will begin with The Unique, Spooky, Scary, Supernatural Show performed by William Pack. Pack uses special effects to bring the haunting stories he will tell to life. This is an interactive program of stories, eerie history, and supernatural occurrences. He encompasses two Edgar Allen Poe pieces into his show and after his performance he will discuss and debate some paranormal events with the teens. His website is http://williampack.com/

Also, I just booked Stacey Kade, YA author of the Project Paper Doll series, to have a presentation on Oct. 16th, Thursday. This will also include a Q&A and author signing.  http://www.staceykade.com/
